Over the years, we've been proud to be Doncaster's premier school of dance and have taught hundreds of dedicated pupils who have attended our dance classes. Our teachers and pupils alike put in maximum effort, balancing hard work and dedication with a fun and caring learning environment. It is this balance that ensures we continue with our 100% success rate in all our I.D.T.A and R.A.D examinations.
As a school, we have always promoted a real sense of family and community spirit and I feel that this is still today reflected in our teaching practices.
Our school continues to be a regular feeder for the Royal Ballet School, Northern Ballet School and many other Stage Schools in the Country.
Opening way back in 1937, our school has a prestigious dance heritage which spans across decades and is reflected in our 100% success rate for examinations.

“Nellie Stagles” is almost an institution and we have been part of the towns cultural life since December 1937, when at the tender age of 17, Miss Stagles opened her first dancing school at the Empire Ballroom, Hexthorpe. Up until her demise in 2007 (aged 87), her passion for art of dance remained unchanged.
